I'm Stephanie Washington!

My journey has been anything but ordinary, and that’s exactly how I like it. I started my career in sales and marketing, mastering the art of building relationships, understanding people, and helping businesses grow. But life has a way of pulling you toward your true purpose. For me, that calling was public service and leadership.

Detroit became my proving ground. Over the years, I served as Chief of Staff for the Mayor’s Office, where I worked on some of the most impactful initiatives shaping the city under the Duggan Administration. I also stepped into the classroom as an adjunct professor at Wayne County Community College, educating aspiring policymakers and government staffers. My work has always centered on people—whether that’s empowering emerging leaders, building bridges between communities and government, fundraising for viable candidates, or creating space for future leaders. Leadership isn’t about titles; it’s about showing up, making hard decisions, and ensuring that progress is both meaningful and inclusive.

But life isn’t all politics and policy. This work is demanding, but it's a lifestyle and incorporate in my lifestyle is my health and wellness. Yoga and fitness keep me grounded, giving me the space to refocus and recharge. My two dogs, Noodles and Chet, remind me to slow down and enjoy life’s simple moments. And while I’ve built a life and career in Detroit, my Philly roots run deep—especially when it comes to my unwavering love for the Eagles. #nflchampions2025

At my core, I’m driven by purpose, passion, and people. Whether I’m working behind the scenes to drive policy, guiding the next wave of leaders, or just having meaningful conversations over coffee, I believe that real impact happens through connection. So, welcome to my space—let’s build, grow, and create something great together.
