Labor Day Parade - 2025
Every year, walking in the parade has become one of my favorite traditions for this honorable day. Something I look forward to as summer winds down and we welcome the new season with joy, pride, and community spirit. This year was no different. The streets were alive with energy—children waving from the sidewalks, families gathered with lawn chairs, and neighbors cheering with so much enthusiasm it gave me goosebumps. Every smile and wave reminded me why this parade is so special: it’s not just a march, it’s a celebration of the people who make our community strong. Happy Labor Day!

Twelve years ago, I took a leap of faith and joined a campaign that, by all conventional wisdom, should not have worked. A candidate whose name wasn’t even on the ballot. A grassroots movement fueled by determination, resilience, and a belief that the city of Detroit deserved leadership that would deliver real results.

Let’s get one thing straight—I’m all about impact, energy, and making things happen. My journey started in sales and marketing, but life had different plans for me. In a time where people were giving up on Detroit, I gave in searching for an opportunity to contribute to the rebirth of Detroit, though it's not the place I've always called home. From 2013 Duggan for Detroit campaign team to Chief of Staff and now Duggan for Governor, I have been honored to have so many pivotal moments that have been instrumental in my life, some of which you may hear about in the future. Connecting people and turning ideas into action through the work in finance or policy? Those are my lines.
My work isn't a job, it's a lifestyle and in my lifestyle you can also find me at the gym, on my yoga mat, or hanging out with friends (and my Noodles and Chet). And, while Detroit has my heart, Philly will always be my home. ,My love for the Eagles is non-negotiable.
